September 20th, 2024: mandatory submission of the report on employment situation

The deadline for submitting the report on male and female employment situation concerning the 2022-2023 period expires on September 20^th, 2024.

According to article 46, par. 1 of Legislative Decree no. 198/2006, employers with a headcount of more than 50 employees are obliged to draw up a report every two years on the situation of workers employed in the company.

The report must be drafted and submitted to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies on the new special form published with Interministerial Decree 3 June 2024.

Article, par. 1-bis, as introduced by art. 3, par. 1, letter b) of law no. 162/2021, also provides that employers with up to 50 employees may draw up the report on the personnel situation on a voluntary basis. This choice is strongly recommended in case such companies intend to participate in public tenders, including when the financial resources of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) or the National Complementary Plan (PNC) are used for the execution of the public contract (Articles 57, par. 1 and 61, par. 1 and 2 and Annex II.3 of Legislative Decree no. 36/2023 and Article 47, par. 3 of Legislative Decree no. 77/2021).
