Renewal agreement for the Tertiary sector

On March 22nd 2024 the NCBA for employees of the Tertiary Sector was renewed by the competent trade unions. The amendments concern both wage increases and the regulation of certain contractual institutions, with the clear aim of pursuing the goal of adapting them to the current labor market and implementing new legal provisions that refer to collective bargaining for the implementation of certain arrangements. The renewal agreement concerns nearly three million employees, and it is applied for the period between 1 April 2023 and March 2027. Salary increases Articles 213 and 216 of the NCLA have been amended with new salary increases. The pay increases: Can be absorbed if an explicit absorption clause has been included in the employment contract; will be paid in six separate instalments
